No catchy title

Good morning! Yes, I’m still alive. Can’t believe February is over and I have nothing to show for it. I know I promised pictures of all the knitting I’ve done. I left them at work. Not the pictures, the actual knitting. We knit on Tuesdays at lunch in one of the conference rooms. I had nothing for Friday Night Knit Night because it was left at the office.

Um, how about a picture of my new Wolf Pup as I found her on my front porch? She’s not out of the box yet, rather she is hidden safely away from the prying jaws of puppy. Maybe by about July 2011, I’ll trust that Juneau won’t eat it.

Though each day this weekend started well below freezing, the sun was out and Juneau had two good days of soaking up the sunshine. Plenty of walk, rolls in the grass and even an hour of running with Mocha in her back yard. Mocha is 2 and roughly the same size as Juneau – this week.

Every day the cats, usually quite by accident get closer and closer to Juneau for longer periods of time. Usually when they are cutting across the couch to get to the cat tree. Ruby is really really disgusted when she suffers big sloppy Juneau kisses and has to spend the afternoon washing up. Ick – Puppy SPIT!

Today Graham is in Havre de Grace MD presenting a poster about his MIT research to one of his sponsors. Boston Logan airport was closed a bit on Saturday but luckily cleared and open by Sunday when he flew out. Baltimore was clear and he had a nice drive north. We used to always stop in Havre de Grace on our way to the shore when we lived in MD in 90-92. He drove in the dark last night so he was unable to see if he remembered even a little bit of the surroundings. We can’t wait to hear from him this afternoon to see how it went!

Oh, dear, it would be VERY bad if Juneau ate the new Wolf!

Poor Ruby – I don’t think any cat would like puppy spit!

Sounds like you are busy and having fun!

To avoid any puppy mishaps I think you should send the Wolf over my way until July! Juno is turning into quite a leggy youth. I applaud the courage of your kitties to not run for the hills at the sight of those long legs, puppy feet and tongue bounding towards them. Glad to hear that you’re alive and well. Graham rocks!(he must have an awesome mom).
