Objects in the mirror are bigger than they appear

I haven’t picked up a knitting needle in a week! The cats have settled down and will be in the same room as Juneau. She still terrorizes them but they now stand their ground. We all hang out in the family room in the evenings. Juneau on the couch, Rufus and Ruby in the cat tree.

We don’t have a scale so we don’t know how much weight Juneau has gained in the past week. I’m calling her vet in the morning and see if I can drop by once a week to weigh her on their jumbo scale. Take a look at this picture. Last Sunday this jacket was long enough that it covered her butt plus 2 inches of her tail. Today? Well take a look.

That’s with feeding 2 1/2 cups of dog food a day and what ever kitty crunchies she can vacuum up.

Every day we do a couple walks up the hill behind us. She loves her sunshine walks.

I’ve been picking up a Dog Fancy magazine every once in a while. The newest issue (Feb 2010) has a knitting article in it. No real pattern but it does show knitting collars. Actually more like collar covers. They are cute though.

Such a cute puppy! With knitted clothes already. Lucky pup! Go look at Mason-Dixon knitting to see a Noro dog sweater. Lovely.

2.5 cups? Penny has a 1/2 cup twice a day – I guess Juneau is just a little bit bigger! Are you going to knit her a sweater?

    Happy New Year!

Aw….Juneau just gets cuter by the day!! That last photo had my human squealing!

Yup – we know all about how fast Dane puppies grow! I was putting on 2kg a week at that stage!! 😀
