$6 million Knitting Hubby

Knitting Hubby had his torn rotator cuff surgery yesterday. I promised not to take any pictures so instead I’ll post a link to a slide show at the NY Times. Click here for illustrations. Only if you want of course!! It is as painful as it looks KH says. No knitting, no spinning, no reading his 1000 page novel he bought. He did figure out though how to hold the newspaper and turn the pages with one hand.

I still made it to Friday Night Knit Night for a little while. Just long enough for show and tell and book reviews. Thanks again Jessica and Kelly for sending home get well chocolates to Knitting Hubby!

Little Thorn sock one is now halfway down the foot. Maybe I’ll treat you with some pictures soon. Maybe. Blue tweed woven scarf is done except for washing and blocking. Maybe tomorrow….

Sending healing thoughts to KH! Hmm, maybe he needs to read some ebooks on the laptop for a while…

    OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!
Good thoughts his way. And I’ll spin up his stash as a sacrifice to the Spinning Gods, too. 🙂
This happened to be years ago when I was hit by a car, but it was on BOTH arms. NOT pretty. And, he’s lucky to have you as nursemaid.

Sorry KH is going thru so much pain. I recently learned how to download library books onto my MP3 player and listen to stories as I quilt. We had your wind last week and remined me of Rapid City SD…spring isn’t far behind, hope, hope, hope. hls

Shoulder surgery sucks. And rehab is lengthy. But it really helps. Hang in there, both of you, but best healing thoughts his way especially!
