It’s 103 in the shade, you’re a Maine Coon

So what do you do? You find the coziest hottest airless place in the house to nap. The tube at the top of the cat tree. Meanwhile her DaddyKat Rufus has the right idea. He’s playing with ice cubes in their water bowl.

Knitting Hubby, Blogless Kim, Famous Jessica and I met for some spin time this weekend. KH spun up some Wensleydale I picked up at Black Sheep Gathering.

I worked on my BSG Cormo/Targhee blend (I have 9 oz and hope to get approx 500-700 yards out of it)

While I was waiting for the window glass contractor guy to arrive and was snapping the above pics, this little lady landed on the camera! I transferred her to the tomato plants in the garden.

Time to change out of work clothes and run thru the sprinklers hand water the dry spots in the yard.

My cat is laying on the lily-pad shaped failed felted cat bed project. It’s not as hot as by you (bet it’s coming our way slowly), but it’s plenty hot. Wouldn’t the wood floor be cooler? But no, must lie on wool.

Why are some kitties like that?! May spends a lot of time on top of the fridge when it’s hot’n’horrible. Oh yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s the most hot and most horrible spot, since the stupid fridge runs nonstop, generating lots of heat…

Running through the sprinklers sounds like a fine idea!
