Too kool for skool

Kniiting notes first. Too fast sweater is coming along nice, almost to the sleeve splits. This might be for Mom for Mother’s day instead of socks. We’ll see.

Ok then, in other news. The too kool for skool news. The picture below is of our friend Nancy. Nancy of Nancy and Chuck fame, not Nancy of Wheeless Nancy. Chuck and Nancy (isn’t she a cutie? and she has a Georgia drawl to match!) live in Ecuador for 6 months out of the year. This weekend they were touring about and ran into a happy family out on a weekend respite. So who is the happy guy giving Nancy a squeeze?

It’s her new buddy Rafael. You know, as in Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado. President of Ecuador! They got to chit chat with him and everything.

    Hey fellow Firesign-devotee,

How do you like WordPress? I’m considering jumping ship from Blogger….

I had no idea who the president of Ecuador was/is… then again, I’m pretty out of touch and backwards. But kudos for Nancy for rubbing elbows with the bigwigs. You’re turning into a regular sweater machine. Between you and Penny I’m beginning to wonder what’s in the water over there and if maybe Hanford run-off is transforming y’all into knitting superheroes!
