Too tired to title

Heck, when did i blog last? What have you missed? Not much. I finished plying, setting and skeining the OFFF roving. It’s about 7 inches into that One Row Handspun scarf.

On Friday Knitting Hubby and I snuck out to lunch and then went to visit the LYS Sheeps Clothing. We could barely get in the door. Guess a few semi loads of fall yarns had shown up. We need to visit again mid-week to see where all the stock (you can only see about 1/3 to 1/4 of what came in, in this picture) is going to be placed.
Wheeless Nancy was there, post-steek with her Norwegian sweater. Is this beautiful or what?

This weekend we traveled to Seattle to visit Graham for his birthday and go to the Kelly Joe Phelps concert.
The Tractor Tavern in Ballard is a great small concert venue. Only 125 seats and then standing room by the bar. There may have been 250 people there. With Dave still on crutches we made sure we got there when the doors opened at 6pm and ended up front row center. Yeah!!! The opening act was good, a young kid from Lyons CO named Gregory Alan Isakov. He was releasing his second CD “That Sea, the Gambler”. We bought a copy.

We ate lunch yesterday at the Honey Hole. I had a fantastic meatball sandwich. And we got stared at by this fish.
Later when we were walking back to our hotel, we noticed the world famous “The Undre Arms” apartments. I’ve actually heard about the place for years, seen pictures of it on the web and never realized it is a half block from Seattle University.

Your scarf is amazing, I love the color gradations. And echo that amazing on Nancy’s sweater. Not only would I be terrified of scissors nearing that beauty, but I’d probably frame it and hang it on my living room wall. I’ve never heard of the Undre Arms before… then again, I lead a sheltered and naiive existence. Take care.
