Dueling Lendrums

We’d been thinking about getting together on Sundays for spinning and Wheel-less Nancy (formerly known as Even More Blogless Nancy) had volunteered her house as the meeting spot. ‘cept it didn’t work out for yesterday since Nancy and Bad Jeanne were in the Portland/Vancouver area taking a weekend’s worth of knitting workshops. We didn’t think Nancy’s hubby would like us taking over the big screen TV and helping ourselves to tea in her absence so we met at the Kennewick Library instead. When Blogless Kim arrived, Famous Jessica and I had already been spinning for a little while. I was working on the Merino Alpaca blend and Jessica was plying some yummy grey roving she bought from Jessie at A Piece of Vermont. Please disregard the double chin and poor posture…
Knitting Hubby joined us a little after 3 pm ready to work with Senor Froggy (Ashford Traveller) Senor Froggy must have been talking to Loki and wasn’t behaving AT ALL. Or it could have been that KH kept looking at what fun we were having on the two Lendrums and Kim’s travelling Louet. When we got home KH poured over all my Spin-Off mags, spinning supply catalogs and the internet.

Too cool! Someday I hope to have a nifty wheel like those. I notice that you both are spinning barefooted too. This is wonderful news, as I believed that I was just extremely uncoordinated. Glad to see that others find it more comfortable as well.
