Seattle Mariners Stitch and Pitch 2007

Crazy WordPresss over wrote my previous posting when I told it to start a new one. So the other post has disappeared. Then last night it also wouldn’t let me edit this post. No telling whats up.

Minutes before I left for work this morning I had a UFO sighting.ufo.jpg
Tonight was the Seattle Mariners Stitch and Pitch 2007. Not the rowdy event that I was hoping for. Well at least not our section. Pretty somber the whole night. You’d think even if the Mariners were losing, the knitters would be lively. They weren’t in section 334. Vendors…but no Seattle University sock yarn so no sale.

Traveling sock had a good view from our seat.

And plenty of company.

See that little red circle with the yellow arrow? The little yellow arrow is pointing to one of my projects at work that I spend about $2M of the tax payers money on per year.

By the end of the evening PFS younger daughter was 1/3 the way through her face cotton face cloth. She’s left handed but knits right handed English. facecloth.jpg

I love the floating space needle. Golf clubs transformed into yarn… works for me. That’s a strange little shed on the top of the nearby building. Hope you have a great time.

I read the post in its first incarnation — it really did exist! Came back to echo the compliments on the Space Needle photo. Maybe the knitters needed more beer in your section.
