Saturday Sky for January 6

Hanford High School was built in the early 70’s as a K-12 school for the kids from the north part of Richland and West Richland. Some time ago they turned in into 6-12. Now it’s 9-12. Graham was the 2005 valedictorian there. The place has been a total rat hole for years. Flooding pipes, crap paint, looked like it should have been condemed. Richland finally passed a bond to rebuild the high school. Of course after Graham had done 7 years there and graduated.

On Saturday we had plenty of clouds in the afternoon but as the sun set there was a break and I tried catching its reflection in the school entrance. My office is a mile or so directly north.
