Iron Chef West Richland

Tonight’s challenge: Not feeling like making the Mahi Mahi steaks bought earlier in the afternoon, tonight’s challenge is refrigerator luck. Secret ingredient: Hard Boiled Eggs.

Well I would have taken a picture of the resulting dinner but they disappeared in no time! Made egg salad (eggs, miracle whip, salt, pepper), spread it on bagette slices. Topped with fresh taragon from the garden, smoked salmon and capers.

Meaning to just do a gauge swatch of my fishmonger (Danish Tie) shawl, I “accidently” started it and am having a great time. Just need to get back to Mom’s mother’s day sweater some time this week. It’s a great handspun stash buster.

MOOOOMMMMMM, there’s like 3 zillion birds out at the feeders, come look MOM.

The past few mornings our front porch has glowed a beautiful red in the sunrise. This is the wall opposite the brick that I thwack wet skeins of yarn on for wet finishing my handspun.

And for those of you keeping score? Packwood is only two weeks away!
